Organizing in Surrey

If you’re looking to be involved in grassroots Surrey organizing, through community gardens, arts, and/or social justice actions, we’ve begun to compile a list of where you can start looking! This is a very non-exhaustive list, and there are so many amazing organizations and organizers in Surrey that we just don’t know about yet.   • The PLOT Community Garden; a transformed vacant 2-acre site near the Surrey Newton Bus Loop into a plentiful organic Sharing Garden, FREE to all the community; 13734 71 Ave #13724, Surrey

  • Solid State Community Industries; Incubating justice based co-op model enterprises, including us!; 10326 Whalley Blvd, Surrey

  • Anakbayan Surrey Chapter; Filipino youth that aiming to arouse, organize and mobilize youth for national democracy with a socialist perspective in the Philippines
